BUDD Records is a student-run record label founded in 2024 by the BIMM Berlin Music Business Class of 2026. The label exists as a hands-on platform to showcase emerging talent and give BIMM students real-world experience across all areas of the music industry.
Unlike traditional labels, BUDD Records works on a one-release-per-artist model, allowing us to collaborate with a wide range of artists and maximise creative opportunities for as many students as possible.
All releases are developed collaboratively with BIMM’s student producers, engineers, and creatives. Following past collaborations with industry professionals such as Moses Schneider (Tocotronic, Beatsteaks), current and future projects are produced and mastered entirely in-house—reflecting our growing independence and professional skill set.
As the label continues to evolve, its focus remains on discovering new projects, empowering student talent, and strengthening BIMM Berlin’s creative community.
